Everything Change: FOOD
2021
As part of Taliesin’s Everything Change programme with Dhaka Lit Fest, Owen Griffiths and Dee Woods offered a provocation around food, profiling land based projects in Swansea and London on a global platform.
Everything Change is a series of discussions and events exploring the roles creativity, adaptive thinking and storytelling can play in overcoming the challenges of climate and ecological crises, with Taliesin and Dhaka Lit Fest. The programme features an international array of contributors from across the arts and creative industries, as well as the sciences, law, business, public policy, activism and education, and focuses on seven key areas of change: Money, Food, Water, Energy, Justice, Story and Change itself.

This session explores some of the most damaging aspects of food in the modern world, as well as some of the creative and exciting solutions, with a panel of food specialists, artists and thinkers. Owen and Dee Woods offer the above film as a provocation for fellow speakers Ian Rappel, Khushi Kabir, Raj Patel and Chair Jon Gower.
Rooted in Wales and with a global focus, the programme took place entirely online. Everything Change was produced by Taliesin Arts Centre and Swansea University Professor in Creativity, Owen Sheers, in partnership with Dhaka Lit Fest and with support from the British Council.
